6 FARMERS NEED YOUR HELP
After years of fighting for the passage of CARPER, the farmers finally won! The farmers would like to extend their thanks to all of you who supported them all throughout.
However, going back and forth to Manila has been really challenging for farmers from all over the country. Today, 6 farmers from Sumilao, Bukidnon are stranded in Manila. They need all the help we could give, so that they can go back to their families and finally celebrate in the land they fought for.
It costs around Php 8,000 per person, so we need to raise a total of Php48,000, if possible by Friday, June 12, 2009.. You can course your donations to KAISAHAN through Kaisahan Inc. Account# 0123-4001-86, BPI Kalayaan Branch. Also, please inform Sanggu President Gio Tingson (09178807427) , CARPER Team-Ateneo Head Neil Llorente (09065764016) , or Cherryl Si (09178719232) so we could secure a receipt for you from KAISAHAN.
