Ever wanted to make an impact in the society by inventing a cure for cancer, a pill that will give you all the nutrition you need for a day, or even a bath soap that you don’t need to rinse with water?

The Ateneo Management of Applied Chemistry Association’s New Product Development Consultancy aims to help students formulate new products in line with the organization’s vision of inspiring the spirit of innovation in Ateneo students through the creation of socially relevant start-up products.

The first step is forming a New Product Development Service Team that can help with logistics, create informative articles, moderate the forums and assist students in the creation of their products.

We at Ateneo MACA believe that anyone equipped with the right information can be an inventor. The following positions are open to all regardless of your course.

WEBMASTER - Inspire people by becoming the New Product Development Team’s webmaster. Use those creative juices and technical know-how by designing the layout and look of the team’s very own website and forum.

WRITERS-CONTRIBUTORS – Scribble about new product innovations, product processes and principles behind product making and make yourself known to the whole Ateneo community (and the rest of the online world). Applicants must have good grammatical skills and command of the English language.

MODERATORS – We need people to take care of the New Product Development Forum. They must be willing to edit the forum 2-3 times a week and must be meticulous and alert with content. They must also be able to answer questions and facilitate a healthy discussion in the forums. If you are interested and knowledgeable in the Food & Beverage, Medical and/or Cosmetics and Hygiene Industries, then you might be the person we’re looking for.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT TEAM – Help people transform ideas into real products. If you are willing to devote free time to help assist student groups in laboratory procedures or engage in lengthier discussions about their products, then sign up for this position. Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and principles (in any Science course) or a willingness to learn is a must. Requests for support are by appointment and the Research and Development Team can assist students during their own free times.
